5/15/2023 0 Comments Boba fett 1313![]() In the meantime, Respawn recently announced that its working on a sequel to Fallen Order, as well as a new Star Wars FPS and a Star Wars strategy game. We did finally get a great single-player action game in the Star Wars universe in the form of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, but we still can't help but see this Boba Fett footage and wish that game had come out. We definitely want to,” said Lucasfilm's Kathleen Kennedy at the time. And it’s something we’re spending a lot of time looking at, poring through, discussing, and we may very well develop those things further. This lends some credence to the 2015 statement from Lucasfilm that the company didn't want to “throw any of that stuff away”, referring to the work done on Star Wars 1313. Still, you can see bits and pieces of what would have been a great adventure. The latest look is a pretty early build of a chase sequence from the game. When finally scrapped back in 2013, it’s been a decade of us still wanting to know what this game might have looked like. Interestingly, a few of the sequences and game mechanics shown off in this new footage bear a resemblance to 2019's Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. 1313 proves that our infatuation with Boba Fett is still at a fever pitch. It's all a touch bittersweet, getting to see what could have been. Later, we get to see a daring chase sequence, which is still pretty epic even with a lack of textures and finished assets. In this new footage, we can see Boba Fett walking through an area on Coruscant, with all the assets in place, and it looks rather lovely. The new footage, which you can check out down below, was released by The Vault Archive, which is best known for gathering information and assets on the cancelled Star Wars Battlefront III. We've never seen this version of the game in action, however, until now. However, prior to the game's cancellation, it was reported that George Lucas himself requested that Star Wars 1313 be turned into a Boba Fett game, ditching the game's new protagonist in favour of Star Wars' most infamous bounty hunter. Taking place in the seedy underworld of Coruscant, the game was highly anticipated by players, but was cancelled when LucasArts was closed by Disney in 2013. Star Wars 1313 was meant to open with a brand new bounty hunter, controlled by the player, before theyre killed by Boba Fett, and the more renowned character takes over for the rest of the. Star Wars 1313 was first announced back at E3 2012, and the first footage of the third-person action adventure game came just a few days later. Previously unseen gameplay of cancelled LucasArts game, Star Wars 1313, has been released by The Vault Archive, giving us our first look at Boba Fett in action.
